FAQ's About Me

My email address is spark13@hotmail.com

Before emailing me for anything, please read the FAQ's to see if your question is answered here.

Q: What is your name?
A: Vickie (or Victoria) Boutwell. On the internet, I also sometimes call myself Tori, but not in real life. Also, that's Vickie with an "ie" not "i" or "y."

Q: How old are you?
A: I was born June 21, 1982, so I was 18 when I first set up this page.

Q: What do you look like?
A: I'll have a picture soon.

Q: Where do you live?
A: West Virginia. (It is a state, not part of Virginia, as many supposedly well-educated Americans seem to think.) I have two homes, one in a small town in the mountainous area sort of between the panhandles, and the other at Marshall University in Huntington.

Q: Do you have brothers or sisters?
A: I'm a middle child. My sister is two years my senior; my brother 3 and a half my junior. (20 and 14 at the site's creation date.)

Q: Do you have any real pets?
A: Yes! Since my pets lives my not last for the life of this site, I'll let you know the pets I have(had) when setting up Woodland Park. There are four cats in my house, 1 shorthair and 3 semi-longhair mixes, all spayed females. (Click for pics of Daisy, Sega, and April.) My personal cat is April. She is a real sweetheart, loyal, and obediant. She is semi-longhair (virtually identical to a purebred Turkish Angora), white with a little blue-cream on her forehead and tail tip. We also have a big 80 or 90 pound mutt. He stays outsite and his name is Foxfire. My past pets included mice, a hedgehog, snakes, more cats, rats, and a rabbit. My dorm doesn't allow pets. :(

Q: What are your favorite animals/breeds?
A: I like all mammals and don't mind the creepy crawlies either. My favorite wild animal is the mountain lion. My favorite pets are rats, cats, and dogs for all their own reasons. My all-time favorite cat breed is the Turkish Angora. For dogs, I like sighthounds, Greyhounds topping the chart followed by Italian Greyhounds and Whippets. My favorite Petz breeds are siamese and bulldogz, but I like them all.

Q: What type of music do you like?
A: Classical or other instrumental. My favorite song is "Carol of the Bells."

Q: What kinds of books do you read?
A: Anything I can get my hands on! Well, I don't much like Steinbeck. Agatha Christie books are a sort of obsession. Every time I see a title I don't own, I buy it.

Q: What movies/TV do you watch?
A: I can't stand anime. My brother is obsessed with Tenchi, Gundam Wing, and a few others(NOT Pokémon); my sister is a Sailor Moon fanatic. I like The Simpsons, Whose Line is it Anyway?, Monty Python's Flying Circus, and MacGyver, as well as most of Cartoon Network's line-up (except Toonami of course) and hour long adventure series from around the 80's/early 90's like Scarecrow and Mrs. King, Moonlighting, and Remington Steele. I like movies of the same genre (Indiana Jones, Romancing the Stone, and such) as well as James Bond, Jackie Chan, and anything by Mel Brooks.

Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I manage a few websites. I love to read. I write stories of most genres: short, long, sci-fi, murder mysteries, comedy. I am also fascinated by science (I'm a Biology major) and social sciences like psychology and sociology.

Q: What are your pet peeves?
A: Suck-ups, stuck-ups, manipulative people, people who can spell correctly but don't, people who believe age is directly proportional to maturity, people who don't respect and care about everyone reguardless of faults, hypocrites, closed-mindedness to any ideas or preferences, anyone who critizes anyone elses religion or beliefs (I'm a Baptist, by the way), needless cursing (I actually only use cursing as dialogue in stories for characters to show, well, in part, ignorance), and people who hurt any living thing on purpose.
