A four day
immersion will take place April 21st-24th (Thurs-Sun). For more information

*** 6-week Teacher Immersion Course at St.F.X. ***
This is a 6-credit course offered through the St.F.X. Celtic Studies Department.
It aims to bring intermediate students to a level of fluency. At least 2 years
of formal Gaelic or equivalent is required as no English will be permitted in
class. The course starts May 2nd and runs until June 10th. Classes run from
9AM-12PM Monday-Friday with workshops, labs and study periods in the afternoons.
Subjects will include History of the Gael, Gaelic Poetry in NS, Modern Gaelic
Poetry, Short Stories & Drama, etc... There will be weekly quizzes.
Instructors will include Catriona Parsons, Effie Rankin and Jamie MacDonald. The
costs are $1280 (Can) plus $700 extra for US students. Canadian residents may be
allowed to audit the course for half price. Please send inquires to Catriona

Summer Courses for the year 2005 will be starting at Sabhal Mhor Ostaig in Skye and at Gaelic College St. Ann's Cape Beton.
