Jody Roberts

Jody's been with United since the beginning ... He holds a USSF "C" National Coaching License and just completed his second year as the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Camden County College where he has helped Head Coach George Hobbins in directing the Cougars to a 26-10 record over that time and an appearance in this year's Region XIX tournament final. The Cougars are currently ranked 12th nationally in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) polls. Jody was recently selected by Philadelphia's United Junior Soccer League to direct their Boys U16 FC Philadelphia team. In 1998 he served as the Assistant Women's Soccer Coach at Gloucester County College where he teamed with his brother Dan to lead the program to it's first-ever winning season (7-6-3). Highlights of that season included a 1-0 loss to nationally 9th-ranked Ocean County College (almost avenging an 13-0 prior year loss under a different coach) as well as an upset 1-0 win over regionally 3rd-ranked Mercer County College which gave the Lady Roadrunners their first post-season bid ... On the camp front, Jody serves as a trainer for the Camden County College Soccer Camp ... In his twenty-year coaching career, Jody has been named multiple times as South Area Olympic Development (ODP) coach or assistant and has received frequent selections as the SJSL and/or GCSL boys and/or girls Select Coach ... As a player, Jody competed with distinction at the youth, high school, college, and amateur levels and has several appearances in international competition ... Jody resides in Sicklerville, NJ with his wife, Karin, and children, Ryan, Lauren, and Katelynne.
