1/12 Scale WWII Combat T-shirt
The image on the front of the shirt features a Curtis P-40
Warhawk, looking like a homesick angel headed for the clouds. The
shark toothed P-40 was first used successfully to defend the
Burma-China road as Japan choked off supplies from China's eastern
harbors shortly before WWII. No match for the Japanese Zero fighter
in a dog fight, Chennault's Flying Tigers used the planes' superior
diving speeds and hit and run tactics to destroy 286 Japanese
aircraft.
