| Star child of the month This month I would like to reconize Shaela. She is a very smart 5 year old little girl, and has been attending the daycare for a little over 2 years. Shaela has grown up so much since she's been here, she's writting her name, reciting her phone number, sounding out letters, and much more. There is no puzzle made for a 5 year old that she can not put together. One day she noticed that she has gotten taller, and said, " Ms. Gail, I can see in your mirrow now." I have wall mirrows behind my sofa that she could not see herself in a couple of months ago. I said to her, "you are really growing" and she gave me a beautiful smile. The stars are shinning on you Shaela !! |

But who teaches them? Parents... teachers.... and caregivers. Plus, study after study has shown what a powerful influence television has on children, for better or worst. |
