Wow! Christmas has come and gone and now we
are into the New Year, 2001. I would like to thank all
parents and grandparents for attending our Christmas
dinner
and party. Every child had a parent here with them,
you parents are wonderful!! Thank you very much
for your x-mas gifts.
                            Welcome
I would like to take this time to welcome two new
students to our daycare family. Amanda, a 4 year
old little girl, and Maurice a 4 year old little boy
who will attend the daycare on Jan. 16.
Welcome to McDowell's New Adventure !!

Star child of the Month
Our star child this month is
Andrew. He has been
in the daycare for about 5 months and he has just
amazed me with the computer.Andrew didn't know
how to use the mouse at one time now he gets on the computer and open windows to where he wants to go.
When ever it's his turn on the computer the other
children always stand behind him watching because
they know he will find something new.
Way to go Andrew!!! The stars are shinning on you.

Jan. 12.................... daycare will close at 1:00pm
in obverance of  Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday

Jan 16......................daycare will open at 11:30am

**I have noticed that after a 96' no one shows up
until after 11:30, so therefore I will now open at
11:30 following a 96' which will give you 30 mins.
to get to work.

* Parents please remember if your child is
having a snack on the way to daycare,
please be sure that they finish it before
entering the daycare.

* Friday is show-n-tell, that is the only day your
child should bring a toy, book, stuffed animal,
etc. to school. The children tend to share their
own personal toy better at show-n-tell, when
they can switch it for one of the other
children's toy.
* Parents the tooth brushes I purchased for the
daycare children need to be replaced with new
ones, could you please bring them a toothbrush for daycare, with their names taped on them.
