About GAIS> Demographics
Students come to our school with many different cultural backgrounds. See About GAIS> Student & Parent Handbook.At the start of the school year, GAIS had a population of 39 students coming from 7 different countries. By the end of October, 3 of our students went back to their respective homelands (see News> Community Board). Since then, four students have come to join the school.
GAIS is indeed a multi-cultural community. As of this writing (February 2001), there are 40 students from 9 countries, and 10 faculty and staff members from 5 countries.
