| Sonic Youth, REM, Tom Waits, Outkast, Smashing Pumpkins, Fugazi, Tori Amos, The Doors, B-52s, Dre n Snoop, Beatles, Moby, Pre "Black Album" Metallica, Sarah Mclachlan, Sound Garden, Prince, Guns N Roses, Johny Cash, Mazzy Star, Q-Tip, Jane's Addiction and Porno for Pyro's, Ardian Legg, Melvins, Nirvana, The Roots, Henry Rollins Band...some of the favorites. I miss some of the real good band's and artist's who seem to not get any attention over the over-hyed over produced sound that is prodominient in pop music. I have to say that Im more VH-1 than MTV these days which doesn't mean Im gonna buy a Volkswagen and trade stocks in my Dockers online while taping my favorite re-run of "Darma and Greg". Im not quite there yet. But VH-1 has some good shows like "Behind the Music", "Legends" and some of the "Best of..."" shows arent bad. I mean sure they play the occasional Sting video to totally ruin the mood but still... Ill be updating this page when I get some idea's. Please feel free to e-mail me a band you think that is really good but doesnt get mainstream attention. |
