Here is the TAB to 'Always with me, Always with you' by Joe Satriani.
This is my all time favorite instrumental to listen to and play, and it
has taken a long time to get everything exactly like the album,
including a lot of time with a half speed deck. I am not sure about the
rhythm (which I only notated part of) I think one of the guitars is
strung 'nashville style' but I'm not sure....
Also, there are places where Joe uses the bar that I just am not good
enough to do in tune so I notated them as slides. There are a lot of
little things in this song that are not notated, subtle slides and ghost
hammer-ons, etc. But the most important thing is to use distortion and
compression and really make the notes sing. Especially on the main
theme.
And some of the slides are just slides up to the note, so don't be confused if
you only hear the second note on some of them...
Hope someone can use this! Here is some explantion of the notation. I
tried to keep it as simple as possible.
h = hammer on a.h = Artificial Harmonic
p = pull off s.h = Semi Harmonic
/ = slide up w/bar = use tremolo bar
\ = slide down t = right hand tap on
^ = bend with size of bend notated above
