Shalnark: 1st, the people of the town. I tested about 100 of them, but other than some of the pre-defined questions, they only responded in probable answers. These are characteristics of a typical character in a game.

Korutopi: That's the card that I copied, right?
Shalnark: This happened because Korutopi's card is not from this game. Or it could be because an anti-cheating system was reacting, so it won't change.
3rd, things that are brought from outside the game and this rock can be sucked in by Shizuku's vacuum cleaner. But items with special powers can't be sucked in even if they are non-living items. You could say that this game has been programmed to prevent making or gathering cards with nen abilities.
SHIZUKU: And?
Shalnark: But this clues point towards another possibility. This game may not really be a virtual reality but it is occuring somewhere in the real world.
SHIZUKU: What do you mean?
Shalnark: Everything can be explained with nen abilities. The townspeople are controlled by the game master, in other words, they are mere materialized dolls. Even the important items on this island are probably materialized. Korutopi can't copy to the extent of copying an opponent's nen ability. And Shizuku's vacuum cleaner can't suck up things that are materialized from nen, even though they are non-living objects.
Korutopi: It's true that I can't copy the nen ability of turning the cards into items.
SHIZUKU: In my case, by doing so, I can figure out the opponent's traps so…
Shalnark: It was when Feitan flew into the game that I started to get suspicious. Even their bodies disappeared, right? If the player really does enter the game, then the only answer I can come up with is that the spirit leaves the body and enters the game machine, so the body should be left outside. There's no point n taking the body somewhere as well. Also it seemed suspicious to me that the only requirement for removing the spirit from the body was for the player to use Hatsu in front of the machine. For a trap to mingle with someone's life, the requirements are just to easy to me, with that kind of requirement, the only possibility was that it brings the player to a different location. In other words, the Greed Island CD was not something to play the game with, but a trap mechanism to bring a player that did Hatsu in front of the machine to this island. We are in the real world.
Korutopi: I see.
SHIZUKU: So we aren't in the game… So what about it?
Shalnark: The real question starts here, Do you remember the reward for clearing this game that we forced the other players to tell us about?
SHIZUKU: What was it?
Korutopi: You normally wouldn't forget things like that. You can choose 3 cards from the designated pockets and bring them into the real world and use them.
Shalnark: That's correct. That proves that the items in this game can be used even outside of this game. If this game is going on somewhere in the real world, then we don't have to go through all that trouble to clear it but… *throws a card at Shizuku ans she catches it* be able to take them home easily. Not just 3, but all of the treasure. How about it?
SHIZUKU: It is worth doing.
Shalnark: Out of the 100 items out there, we only know of a few. I would like to find out what they are as soon as possible, but first what kind of useful and convenient items out there…
SHIZUKU: What we are after may be in there as well, right?
Shalnark: So our main objective, would be getting the spell cards, "God Eye" or "Analysis".
Korutopi: Then we should head towards Masadora.
