Dragoon
The dragoon is the range and air attacking unit of the Protoss force.  They are esential to the Protoss force providing defence from the air during both offensive and defensive campaigns.  During low mineral games protoss comanders schould not go only dragoons because hit points can be more economically bought through zelots.

As any race playing against the Protoss you should prepair for the onslaught from these mechanical walkers.
Terran commanders should ALLWAYS have a few science vessles when playing against zerg or Protoss.
In this case the Terran Science Vessle should cast EMP shockwave takeing up to 80 hit puints off of every goon unit within the approximate radius of a nuke.
Ghosts useing lockdown will halt a small group of goons almost instantly
Useing theur long range a group of tanks can easially decimate a group of dragoons
Ever seen a pair of reavers destroy 6 goons? nead I say more?
if the goons are observerless lurkers and dark templar will destroy goons without a scratch
