| This is my favorite shot. It's from my balcony, over the Thames.
You can see in the foreground a lovely footpath along the river.
It's really a magnificent view! |

| Here's a shot looking out of my living room, onto the balcony and on
across the river. |

| Below is looking into my living room from the balcony. You can
see it's a decent sized balcony, the door on the right is to the guest
bedroom. |

| This shot didn't come out too good, it's a bit faded but you can see
into the guest bedroom from the open door on the balcony. Just think,
if you were visiting me, you'd wake up to a view of the river throught
your balcony door. How posh. (By the way, do you know the word
origin of posh? It is a term coined on some Brit luxury cruise line.
It stands for Port Out, Starbord Home, and was a reference to the First
Class customers and the method of putting them in staterooms on the Port
side of the ship on the way out and on the Starboard side on the way back
home to keep them on the shaded side of the ship. I guess this was
before A/C.) |
