Finally, after months of waiting it is here, and its great. Gameplay was fantastic, just as I had hoped, and even better there were three discs! But soon after I finished the first stage, it seemed more like an interactive DVD. The game's case didn't lie to me about the amount of FMVs, but it did lie about the gameplay time; "50+ hours" is a flat-out lie. A longer gaming experience combined with the storyline of "Galerians" could have created a sweet game that may even have blown the "RE" series away. For the voice-acting, I'll just put it this way; they would have better off using simpletext on a Macintosh to do it. Also, Rion only used three psychic skills, so the weapons were lacking in variety. Otherwise those were the only dissapointments. The psychic power stuff and the "short" that Rion goes through gives me an eerie sense of what its like to be Tetsuo Shima from "Akira." The FMVs were beautiful, not as great as FFVIII, but still great. The intro was very killer it had a pretty good theme song that goes well with the story. One of the best things is is the ability to view your movies right off the main menu. All-in-all the game would be more of a one day rental, that I promise, will not dissapoint.....too much.
