Riven: The Sequel to Myst
Well your here and you wondering if Riven is a good game. I'll put it this way... if you have played Myst then why the heck are you wasting your time you should be at Wal-Mart or Bestbuy or whatever buying this goldmine of a game. Ok, you just want to know why its so great don't you? Well, first off its about ten times better than the origional, but on the down side its also about 10 times harder. Myst had the perfect difficulty level for the common gamer like huge puzzles that last forever but at the same time they grasp your fascination and make you enjoy taking sometimes hours to figure something out. (like the stoneship age) The difficulty in Riven, however, is insane. I thought I was doing everything just peachy, but when I peaked at a guide book I was like "Where the heck was that?!" Otherwise that is my only argument, Riven IS a fantastic game with beautiful scenery, more inhabitants in each age, (thank god) and a killer story that eventually leads up to you fi.... I've said too much. Why don't you decide for yourself, grab 20 bucks and get this friggin' game! And don't worry about getting a strategy guide, I mean if your looking at this right now...you can just cruise on over to some site like videogames.com (in my links)and find one for free. Ah, the miracle of technology.
