Kings and Queens is being developed with RPG Maker 2000, and it shares all the standard attributes of a RPG, like turn-based combat. However, there will be a few RTS-type mini-games in it as well as an exciting plot. There will be more cinematics than actual gameplay. The game is totally keyboard-based. The [Enter] key is the action button, and the [Esc] key is the cancel button and the menu button.

The synopsis of Kings and Queens's story is that in the future, about 2025, the world is ruled by a one-world government. Dreamer Banks, the son of the last assassinated president, Triton Banks, is elected president. However, the world nation revolts and returns to separated nations, because the people now believe the government was behind the assassination of Triton Banks. Dreamer now must find a way to restore order to the chaotic world. But what is making the people believe this?
