After The secret of monkey island and Monkey Island #2 ,Le'Chucks revenge Lucas ArtsTM made The curse of Monkey Island. You're Guybrush Threepwood mighty pirate! and Threepwoods girlfriend, Governor Elaine has been tunded into solid gold by a cursed diamond ring! This is one of my favorite games (next to Grim Fandango) and has a good sense of humour throughout the game. I've completed it all.Need help Email me at:Charizard3152@Yahoo.com.au In this game you meet many characters with there own personality such as Elaine,Murry the demonic talking skull(thanks to Guybrush),Haggis Mc'Mutton, Edward "Snugglecakes" Van Helgan, Cuthoat Bill, Madame Xima, Wally, Cruff, the vodoo lady, the evil zombie pirate Le'Chuck and more!

Here's a good exapmle of the gameplay: You have to get past a guard so you give a beggar the bag of coins you got earlier and he gives you a piece of old cheese. You put the cheese on some string and drop it into the mouse hole, the rat gets the cheese but you pull him in by pulling the string. You talk to the guard and find out he's scared of rats and you show the guard the mouse and he runs off!

Best Lines:Lost Welshman: steel your courage boy! Now before you gaze upon the terrifing, horrible face of...SKULL ISLAND! Guybrush: that's a duck! Welshman: What are you talking about can't you see skull? Guybrush: it looks like a great big enourmous duck! it should be called duck island! Welshman: Well you see ya gotta squint and sorta turn your head Oooooooooh it's just SO scary! Guybrush: if you squint and turn your head it looks like a bunny.

Le'Chuck toy: My names Le'Chuckie, Let's build a sandcastle, set sail for fun, I'll cut out your tounge and make ye eat it as a sandwich

Cheats (well sort of): here is the list of insults and comeback for the swordfights in "3 sheets to the wind"
Every enemy i've met i've annihilated=with your breath i'm sure they all suffocated.
You're as repusive as a monkey in a negligee=i look that much like your fiancee?
I'll hound you night and day=then be a good dog ,sit, stay.
when your father first saw you he must have been mortified=at least mine can be identified.
En gurde, touche=oh that is so cliche.
Troughout the carribean my great deeds are celabrated=to bad they're all fabricated
I can not rest until you've been exterminated=then perhaps you should switch to decaffenated

When you meet Captain Rottingham he makes up his own: Your mother wears a toupee=oh that is so cliche
Tip: this is only usefull for matching them up you can only use insults you've heard before so try to use the insults of the ones you don't have the comebacks for. in battle you may notice the if you get the right comeback or your enemy dosen't get the right come back you walk you push your enemy back untill you reach a certain point Overall a great adventure game where you can comunicate with the people around you and are able to pick up objects and and use them for the game.
Hey! when you tell Griswold Goodsoup your a Goodsoup and you decided your name (eg:Wonton),and you get life insurance from Stan it says: This entitles the bearer of this policy to a lot of money on the demise of Wonton Goodsoup, But Stan knows your name is Guybrush Threepwood so why does it say Wonton?
Le'Chimp and Mr Fossey, oh and do I have to tell you that Mr Fossey is (Mr Fossey: Aye Aye Cap'n fresh bananas for the whole crew!) an utter loon.
Going good Bill, do you know the nutpush?
Stan hasn't changed his looks so much and still does that same arm waving foot tapping thing that he does. Can anyone find me a Stan from CMI to compare on this site? thanks, Email on main page

Graphics: Suitably cartoony. Looks great too.
Sound: Many tunes that'll have you hummin' long after you've switched the power off.
Lifespan: Not to hard, not to easy.
Storyline: Not a brilliant storyline but still a great game.
Gameplay: Logical puzzels that when you come across a hard one and find the answer you'll slap yourself on the forehead. Nice and logical.
Rating: 96%
