My Diablo2 Oddysseys |
This section of my site will be a sort of journal of my adventures on battle.net. I'll try to add a new entry every time I finish playing on battle.net. |
11/21/00 10:20 pm: Finally! My USEast barbarian, sir GamerAlecthem (of course), has reached level 30! It happened in normal/hell in the city of the damned. No one had joined my game, and I was very lonely. Suddenly, ping! I had at last attained the lofty heights of level 30. I immediately put a point into whirlwind and tested its effects. I was impressed at its killing power, but a little dissapointed at the fast rate that it drained mana, which I only have 69 points of. It seems that I will have to concentrate on increasing mana in the future. After an hour or so of joining different games and whirlwinding demons to their doom, I got off of GamerAlecthem and started playing with my level 11 bowazon, Gamer_quickshot. I tried to help a fellow Amazon kill Andariel, but the Amazon left and never came back, so I got bored and logged off of battle.net. So ends my Diablo2 Oddyssey........for now. |
11/22/00 9:00 pm: Late last night a kind Sorceress gave my barbarian GamerAlecthem a superior gothic and ancient sword for my imbuing pleasure. I decided to imbue the gothic sword as it had lower minimum requirements. When I imbued it I got decent specs: adds 2-10 fire damage, +2 to minimum damage, +37 to attack rating, and a couple others. It required 113 strength, and I had only 100 at the time. I tried to trade stuff for a ring that added to strength, but I finally gave up and logged off for the night. Early this evening, though, I managed to trade 2 perfect gems that I had no use for and 20000 gold for a rare ring that added 7 to strength among other things. I also got by gambling a belt that added 17 to strength. I could finally use the rare gothic sword along with my rare long sword to reassure me that the 8 points that I had put in sword mastery weren't spent in vain. After I equipped the sword I went down to the Durance of hate to test it's power. I defeated Mephisto more easily than I had ever before using a combination of whirlwind and double swing. After a while of loining games and killing various creatures, I logged off of battle.net and cooked some macaroni and cheese to calm my exited nerves. So ends my Diablo2 Oddyssey for the evening. |
