Out of all the upcoming WWF video games Royal Rumble sounds to be the best, although it only has two modes, and 20 wrestlers, it will be one fight to the finish (And look at Warzone, they where both the begining of next-generation systems, and they both have less wrestlers, modes, arena's, etc.. This is just the begining)

Another Royal Rumble Delay?:
Ripsaw here, I made it through the Tattoo The Earth 2000. And all I can say is the Sepultura pit hurt, and I'm in a lot of pain from them, and the SlipKnot pit, but I'll still do my best to bring you all the new information (Which isn't much, more news is being released on Smackdown2 and No Mercy, so I'll do my best to get the other site up) EB is now saying Royal Rumble was delayed yet agin, this time only two days making the release date August 17, however Funcolands nationwide continue to say we'll see it being sold at Funcoland before EB, the Funcoland release date continues to be August 11, 2000. And back to the Tattoo The Earth concert, I will be adding pictures of the concert which has pictures of MudVayne, SlipKnot, the pits, and me with one of the band members of MudVayne. Check back later tonight for more news.

Very good news for Royal Rumble fans: I went to my local EB again to find out if the release date is still set for August 15, 2000. And it was, however I also stopped in at Funcoland and asked them the same question, and the answer I got was "We will be receiving the game August 11, before EB" so if you want a copy of Royal Rumble on August 11 (Unless it's delayed again) Get you're name on the hold list at Funcoland.

Royal Rumble Full Impact winners: The Royal Rumble Full Impact contest has come to an end, and I have all the winners (And close to being winners) posted at the contest page, to view the winners circle, click here.

Royal Rumble Fantasy match: I took the time to write up a fake match useing the information and options that should be in the finished version of Royal Rumble, remember that there is more things we all know about, that isn't in the fantasy match, and as soon as we get our hands on a copy of the game, you'll be seeing real matches posted, you can post any question or comments to this match in the GENERAL section of the Forums under the Fantasy Match post I've posted, to view the match, click here.

Miscellaneous Royal Rumble Information: Ripsaw here with some random Royal Rumble information, it turns out each wrestler will only have one outfit, and there is no way to wrestle at ring side (You can't leave the ring) however after the same question was asked many times, I asked around about it, and it turns out the referee is the same as he was in WWF Raw (You can't look at him, but if we gets in the way, you can punch him)
12:10PM
Royal Rumble's online dream: When Royal Rumble was first put to develop, the game was planed to have Internet play in it using the Dreamcast's modem, however with the lag (Slow down) you get while playing games with the Dreamcast over the Internet, it wouldn't be as fun as it sounds, in fact it would be more boring. But we can always hope for WWF PC, WWF Authority, and any other next-generation system to have online play.

Royal Rumble has been delayed: I just received the sad news that Royal Rumble has been delayed, however it isn't that big of a delay, I called EB again today and asked if Royal Rumble was still planed to be released August 2, but they said it has been delayed until August 15, adding more days on the count down we should see a few new options or modes appear in Royal Rumble. As far as the Primer Royal Rumble Guide goes, I'm sure it will be bumped until August 13. In more news, I also called THQ asking about the release of Royal Rumble and they said they game should be out some time before fall, all we can do is hope it sticks to it's new August 15 release date.
1:30PM
Royal Rumble becomes the number one arcade game: Royal Rumble will know be known as the number one arcade smash hit as it made the most money out of any other arcade game this week. This has brought Royal Rumble's popularity up quite a bit, and we think it will remain in first for a few more weeks. So if you're local arcade has Royal Rumble, play it and help it hold it's spot in first.
12:40PM
Just some site news: We continue to work hard on the upcoming and next Full Coverage site which will be for Smackdown2: Know You're Role, although not much information is known about this game, we will try our best to keep you updated, we should have a site URL posted sometime over the weekend, and the site it's self should be up either Sunday or Monday.
12:00PM
Is there a chance of delay: In a new preview done by IGN, they say the game is far from finished, and that the game will be withdrawn until it's fall release. A lot of talk has been happening about the game's release being held back to add new wrestlers that the fans wanted to see in the game (Such as Val Venis) However, not hearing anything confirmed about the change of release from THQ or any of my local video game stores (Such as EB, who should be one of the first people to know, continue to say the release is August 2, and not to believe any sort of delays) so a little later tonight I will be calling THQ once again, and asking them about the release of THQ, once I am finished with the call, I will post the results, here.

Another trip to EB (Release date, and release of official guide: I went back to Electronics Boutique again, and it's the same release date as last time, this time they told me "It's confirmed, and will be released August 2" I asked seven stores total this week the same question, and only one didn't say August 2, they said "The game is on the computer to come out some time in August" Also, I was checking up on release dates of the Royal Rumble stragity guide, which will go on sale at all EB's July 30th, don't worry about buying the guide you're self, we'll have all the information posted at the site, look for more updates within the hour.

Dreamcast.net takes its first looks at RR: Late last night fans of Dreamcast.net read what they think of Royal Rumble so far, that's right, Dreamcast.net has finally taken their first looks at Royal Rumble and added it to their first look section, along with another mass list of upcoming soon to be released Dreamcast games, if you want to read their Royal Rumble story, click here!

EB Royal Rumble Prices and customer previews:
As it become closer and closer to the release of Royal Rumble EB puts up information about the game such as their $44.95 price. They have also added customer previws (What the customers think of the game) which can all be viewed at there website if you Click Here!
6:25PM
Details on the partner system: As you select you're wrestler in WWF Royal Rumble you are also asked to select a partner who waits at ring side watching you're match, you as the player enters a combination of buttons to 'whistle' In you're partner. It's called whistle in because you make a whistle sound telling him when to come in, however, depending on what you pressed and/or selected before the match you're partner will either run in and do his finisher, do some double team moves, attack him for a few minutes, or throw in a weapon. This doesn't mean wrestlers don't run in from the backstage areas, while playing, if you have interference turned on wrestlers constantly make there appearance. A question a lot of people have been asking is, if there is six people in the ring when the lights go out to teleport backstage, will all six people teleport back, or just the two wrestling, and the answer is, yes. All six will teleport backstage, including the ref. And while we're on the subject of backstage, there is more then just the parking lot to explore while in the backstage area.
3:20PM
What are the Specails used for: In order to get an special or 'S' you must fill you're Special meter all the way like the way you did in Smackdown, using the R button will trigger the Special allowing you to do hundreds of trade mark moves, depending on you're stance when you use the special (If you're standing, you would do pedigree, if you're opponent is on the ground and you're standing as the Rock, you'll do The Peoples Elbow, if you're Rikishi and you're opponent is in the corner, you will do Stinky face, if you're opponent is on the ground and you're Jeff Hardy on the top rope you'll do Swanton Bomb, etc.) However you can also use one of you're specials to kick out of any pin, submission hold, and/or roll back in if you trigger the button in time in the Royal Rumble (You will have to hit is right before you fall out, as you struggle to get back in) It's unknown and as far as I know you will not use specials for having you're partner help out, but I have heard rumors.
12:00PM
Information about the life meters: Good after noon every one, Ripsaw here with another update, I just read that the life bar (or life meter) will drain whenever a move is done to you're wrestler, the bigger the attack is, the more energy you lose (Such as a Sidewalk slam will drain you of a little life, but a Rock bottom will drain you of more) once you're meter is completely drained you'll end up with a K.O. however there is away to turn the K.O.'s off, so we won't be seeing another game like WWF In You're House. Look for more news later today!
11:00AM
Who are the hidden wrestlers?: This is something every one want's to know, we all knew there would be two hidden wrestlers in the game, but we just didn't know who. A lot of us thought maybe Too Cool and Dudleys, after getting enough emails about this subject, I went out, and found out who the two hidden characters in the roster is, Vince and Shane McMahon, there is chance of THQ adding more wrestlers to the hidden wrestler roster, but since the game is so close to it's release, I wouldn't get my hopes up. Look for more news in less then an hour or two.

8:40PM
And more information on the entrance's: This is the second time I had to post something on this subject, which isn't bad, it's my job to do so, but from what I've been hearing is entrances for the game is only five seconds long, however I did see a full one for Xpac, so I have no idea if they cut them out, or if site's are getting their information from the early Royal Rumble game when the entrance's where only five seconds or if they see some of the movies on the net which could have had the entrance's edited out to make the file smaller, which ever it is, I want to tell you there might not be the forty seconds, to one minute wrestler intro's (I think it say's something about them being in the game at THQ's officail website) however, I do have plans to call THQ tomorrow morning, so I'll get it confirmed (For real this time) on how long the entrances are. I'm a little confused now, a reliable source who has the preview copy of the game said they where about that length, and I seen one of them, but it's getting close to it's release (15 days) so things are being added and taken out all the time. So if they aren't in the game, forgive me, and I'll find out A.S.A.P.
WWF Royal Rumble now in arcades: If you have a 'good' local arcade that gets new games as soon as they come out, you might want to rush over there now and chec things out, because the arcade was sent to a few arcades already, and I've been getting a lot of emails about it, you might want to check out what the emails said, to do so, click here.
7:15PM
More Royal Rumble Screen shots: We continue to bring you as much Royal Rumble Full Coverage as posible as we bring you 28 new screenshots, these one's are really good, in a few of them you can see the camera man, the US anouncers table, and the spanish anouncers table. (Brought to you by Game Informer)
4:05PM
Royal Rumble mode details:
Good after noon every one, I've been up for twelve hours now waiting for more Royal Rumble news to come in which sadly hasn't
arrived yet, so I will post the answer to the most asked question "Does Royal Rumble Really Have A Time Limit, If So Why?" this is simple, yes, the mode will have a time limit, why? to cut down on the line of people waiting to play the game and so you can't just sit in the corner and watch the fight, when you first run into the rumble you have about two minutes, from that every person you throw out adds 20 seconds to you're time limit, if you're time runs out, you're eliminated from the match.
More information on entrances: This is another question I get a lot of the time, asking about wrestler intros, I've seen the movies of the five second intros, and as you can tell they are all of the arcade, I know people who work at other site's that have the preview copy of the full version game, and it has forty seconds to a minute intros, THQ also said in an interview they will be that long, with perfect digital sound for music and fire works, and special light effects. I've also seen Xpacs video, and it live up to what I've said about them, they are good. I'll have more information up (Some new things, not just recaps) later in the day.

Royal Rumble UK Release date: Well, it's been another day of Royal Rumble Full Coverage, and we bring to you the Royal Rumble UK Release Date, all we know at this time is it will be late October (Fall 2000)
Information about the wrestler entrances: I've been getting a lot of email asking about entrances, it is confirmed that they will be forty seconds to one minute long, anything I post on the site is confirmed and will be in the game unless it says it might not be. A lot of sites say they are only three seconds because that's how long they where in the demo at E3, entrances is one thing Royal Rumble is known for.
4:45PM

Wrestlers will be able to climb objects such as speakers, boxes, or anything else you might find laying around the stage to perform top-rope moves, or possibly even power bombs, and suplex's to you're opponent off of the object.

10:06PM
Royal Rumble may be THQ's last DC wrestling game:
Brian Farrell President and CEO of THQ said "We believe that once the
PS2 is released, the Dreamcast revenues will trail off in both Europe
and America very quickly and very significantly." In laymans, terms
the Royal Rumble may very well be a one shot deal for THQ. Alot of us may not belive this, but it has been posted at website's over the internet and was anounced at a video game Conference just last week.
4:30PM
NEW Basic Info sections:
I was originaly going to leave this section out of the Royal Rumble Full Coverage site until some of my friends found it and said I should add it to the menu because people want all the information they can get, so I gave it some thought, and added it to the site. So make sure you check it out.
3:45PM
Funcoland Royal Rumble prices: With a recent talk with the local Funcoland video game store in my area, I asked about Royal Rumble's price range, the price they gave me is the same price listed on the Funcoland website, and in this months price list under coming soon games, however they also said they won't have a used copy of the game. The only information they told me was a used copy of the game will run for about $34.66 (With Funcoland discount card: $30.50) however, like I said before, a used copy of the game will not come in for about six to seven weeks or longer after the release of the game, so if you don't want to wait that long, the cost at Funcoland will be in the range of $50.00 to $65.00.
