Q: Hey awesome site I had two questions for you.
1. Will there be blood in SD2?
2. Will the wrestlers come out with there belts in SD2?
A: Thanks, there will not be blood in Smackdown2 as of now, however there is time to change this, but I doubt they will (Blood wouldn't look to good on Smackdown models) and for you're second question, last time I talked to THQ they said they are working on improving the entrances, and letting the wrestlers walk to the ring with his or her belt is one of the things they will be adding.
Q: In WWF Royal Rumble, can you throw you're opponent through the table that J.R. and The King is sitting at?
A: Nope, last thing I heard you won't even be able to go out of the ring, but this doesn't drop the value to me, I still think it's going to be a great game. (And there will not be any tables in the backstage areas)
Q: Ripsaw, Is No Mercy going to have a backstage area or not?!?
A: Yes, the WWF No Mercy has been confirmed to have backstage area's. And the second we get our hands on some backstage screen shots, we'll post them, I just can't imagine the WM2K engine with backstage areas. :D
Q: Is Royal Rumble going to be delayed again, and does you're funcoland still say the release date is August 11?
A: Good news to all WWF Royal Rumble fans, the answer to his question is NO, there shouldn't be any more delays, I recived an email from THQ with information saying the game is now 100% finished, and yes, my local Funcoland continues to say they will have it before anyone else with the release date of August 11, I'll keep you updated.
Q: How interactive is the HIAC match for Smackdown2?
A: Very, in this mode you'll be able to swing the cell door at you're opponents head, climb to the top and throw him through the cell back into the ring, or off the cell through a table. This sounds like it will be one of the best modes Smackdown2 has to offer, and I can't wait to play all of the new modes, in the new season mode! :)
