Footloose stars Kevin Bacon, Lori Singer, Chris(topher) Penn, John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Sarah Jessica Parker. If you haven't seen this film... what's wrong with you? Footloose is totally one of my favorite films ever and probably the first time I saw Chris. I first saw it several years ago, cuz I liked Kevin Bacon so much. I mean, look at how adorable Kevin and Chris are here. Besides that, the story is good and all of the acting is top-notch. So, if you haven't seen it yet... the plot is quite simple. This is teen rebelionism showcased perfectly. Ren (K. Bacon) is a big city teen, transplanted in a small town, where dancing and rock 'n roll have been outlawed. Oppressed, Ren decides he's going to dance, and win Ariel's (L. Singer) heart, too. In between, he gets into trouble with Arial's preacher father (J. Lithgow) and teaches Willard (C. Penn) how to dance ^_^ In the end, he convinces the town to hold the dance... It's just a cute movie. I'd give it 8.5 points out of 10. I'd give Chris' performance 7, for playing a hick so well (lol).
