This movie stars Nick Nolte, Melanie Griffith, Chazz Palminteri, Michael Madsen and Chris Penn. Well, what can I say about this film... ? I know it didn't satisfy me at all. Not enough Chris, and the story just about put me to sleep. It revolves around a homicide. Chris plays Relyea, who's basically just a tag-along character. This character had no depth. Then again, none of them did. With so little to work with, Chris manages to come out of it ok. That's to say his performance was flawless, as usual. I just didn't like the character or the writing. I'm not sure what could have saved this film. The characters all needed more depth and Chris needed more lines. I dunno if it would have made the film any more interesting, but I'd be much more willing to watch it if Chris appeared more. I'd give this film 4.5 points out of 10. I'd give Chris 7.5, for keeping me alert through the movie.
