Tazrial is a rather striking young man (when he is in human form), with long hip length straight silverish white hair, double ringed irises, the outer of violet and the inner ring of lavender, alabaster skin, handsome almost to the point of being called beautiful. He is slim like a dancer, and in fact he is quite an accomplished dancer.

Unknown or at least unacknowledged, his mother is Lady Zara, one of Dara's elder sisters, who owns and works in the Scarlet Tower of Pleasure in Thelbane, which, besides being the best ‘pleasure palace’ of Thelbane, is also the home of the Sisters of the Shadows (though this is not common knowledge). The Sisters are spies, assassins and thieves. It is Chaos after all – where best to hide them but in a Pleasure Palace where a slip of a tongue during a moment of passion could be valuable?
