Glorfindel

Glorfindel (Elf)                           Points value: 190

Eldarin lord of Gondolin, and one of the captains of Turgon.  He commanded the left flank of the retreat of the Gondolindrim during the Nirnaeth Arnoediad.  When Gondolin fell, Glorfindel accompanied Tuor, Idril and the other survivors in their escape, but when the company was ambushed in Cirith Thoronath he fought the Balrog who led the enemy forces.  Both fell to their deaths.  But when he came to the Halls of Mandos, the great Valar lord permitted him to return to Arda once more.  It was he who met and protected Frodo the Ringbearer on their way to Rivendell, and fought the Nazgul at the Fords of Bruinen.

Wargear

Glorfindel carries a sword and shield. At an additional points cost he may take the following wargear:

-His horse, Asfaloth, uses the same statistics as Arwen's horse (seeing as it even has the same name!).

Special Rules

Fearless. Glorfindel is completely unafraid of foes, no matter how terrifying. He does not need to test his courage when confronting a terrifying enemy.
