Chapter Projects
Delta Academy The ladies of Gamma Alpha tutor young adults in a variety of academic areas ages 14-17 on Xavier's campus in the Family Life and Community Service Center located at Xavier South. In addition, sorors act in the capacity of mentors and counselors.  This program is in conjunction with the Family Life Center at Xavier University.
Alpha Delta Zeta (ADZ) The Gamma Alpha Chapter works with a junior sorority at Charter Middle School called ADZ, named after the three main sororities on the Pan Hellenic Council. The junior sisterhood participates in community service activities, cultural events, and projects at their school. ADZ was founded by a soror in the city who felt the need to make a difference in young girls lives.
AIDS/HIV Awareness All sorors in Gamma Alpha and world wide are working tiredlessly to get information about about AIDS/HIV.  The deadly infection is killing millions of people, especially hitting the black community the hardest. National AIDS/HIV Awareness Day was observed on March 9,2002.

Teen Lift A national program continued by Gamma Alpha.  GA Sorors work with high school students for cultural and enriching activities aimed at producing intelligent, well-rounded, and highly-motivated young people.  This is one of the many programs that Delta Sigma Theta has been committed to since the 1960's in our sorority's efforts to uplift the black community.
