Welcome to the sad story of GAMMA WORLD.
This epic table-top RPG takes place on Gamma Terra, formerly known as Earth. Technology in the 23rd century was at a climax point. Damage done to the environment was being erased. Peace reigned. But with no problems to occupy the humans, they started thinking on a more philosophical term than technical. Differing religions and theories brought conflict, and ultimately turned every one into fanatic terrorists trying to destroy the other fanatic terrorists. Then the Apocolypse gave its warning; People of Earth, we have the power. The choice is yours. And when no one laid down the weapons in peace to heed the warning, a few cities turned into radioactive mush. Once again the Apocolypse gave the warning, and once again it was unheard. A few more cities turned into mush. By then a few groups had found out where the Apocolypse base was, and decided a joint attack on it. Nuclear missiles and fission bombs were in use every where, and soon there was nothing left. Only a few human survivors. Due to the radiation, their offspring mutated, leaving the word 'Human' a loose one, tied to hundreds of different spieces. That is where the adventure starts. Playing Characters are the new generation, generally ingorant towards the older times.

Suggestion-If you want a mapping program made especially for several table-top and PBeM RPGs and Wargames, go to Tormentor's Virtual Wasteland and download his friend's program. It is very excellent for making the Campaign or Scenario maps, using an add on made just for GW. If you want to do some detailed maps for use with GW, use the Strategic setting to do forests, clearings, towns, etc.

Apothecary's bag-
A bag of primitive (mostly ritualistic) medicines. Can restore up to 25 HP no more than 5 times. Once it has been used to restore the 25 HP max it cannot be used on that person for the remainder of that day. Can cure intensity 6 poison and all lower levels, if used right after encounter with the poison. Roll % dice to see if this works. 60% chance of healing intensity 6 poison, 70% chance of healing 5, 80% chance of healing 4, 90% chance of healing 3 or 2, and 100% chance of healing 1. This item is not an Ancient one, so you can buy it in most villages.
