Hail to one and all. This is where I will be
posting all of the character biographies for the Circle of Sol Guild. Check back here regularly and don't forget to submit your own stories so that I can post them here for everyone to enjoy. Thank you; Goldenberry. Goldenberry's Story Goldenberry's story was so long that I placed it on it's own page. To view Golden's story click here Aktar's Story Little Aktar (not to be confused with little Abnir), was a disappointment to
his Erudite parents. Born underweight and with a full head of hair (true
High Men are born with no hair, and gradually grow it), it was with heavy
hearts that they took Aktar and dumped him in the Erud Bay, knowing he would
never pass the Test of the Sharks... The two other sets of parents there
chuckled softly, as they eyed Little Aktar's hair (the common Erudite is not
known for compassion), and slowly lowered their own children into the water. The two other Erudite babies born on the same day as Aktar were strong,
healthy, bald specimens and should have done just fine as they were tossed
into Erud Bay... To this day no one knows (Aktar claims not to
remember--though Erudites often have perfect recall) how it was that Aktar
lived and the two healthy babies were eaten by sharks... though they did see
him cooing "illbafuhn, illbafuhn" and "eyevaplan, eyevaplan" at the other
babies, just before the drop. Those mysterious words may never be known,
just as the two, young, tragic Erud babies, Churchill and DeGaulle will
never be known to Odus... and perhaps even all of Norrath. But we have Aktar. Later, as he grew in magical abilities much more slowly
than his classmates, he nevertheless surprised his tutors with his ability
to get into scrapes... Not knowing that the Erud Sentinels have an unspoken
agreement with Rungupp--of Toxxulia Forest infamy-- Aktar ran half-blind
from a bridge his parents TOLD him not to play near, with a battle-scarred
troll on his tail... and Rungupp proceeded to lay waste to everyone in his
path... several children died that day. Multiple times. It was around this time that Aktar began to meet more hardy companions.
People that were not dissuaded by the strange confluence of events that
seemed to trail Aktar. Torloth, Theryn, and Huar(who's distant half-cousin
by broken marriage of a blood-brother we all know as Raton), Pelmen and Zxon
(who's mother was abducted by a dark elf named Slyth's father, who later
repented and taught a young human Cleric named Roihan that good could be
found, even in a fire beetle's eye goop) were among his earliest
compatriots. The cats of Kerra ridge still pluck their teeth with the
broken bones Aktar's friends left behind there. But Aktar's friends would
not give up, and stuck by him though the Gods of Misfortune seem to take
closer note of Aktar's passings... Eventually, this circle of hardy souls grew larger, and Aktar realized that
he would not be able to protect all his friends at once from the Gods of
Misfortune, and so he began the Circle of Sol... in order that people would
have a common group to help them out of dangerous situations. A Circle
which provided a shelter from bad luck, a focus of hope.... and the ability
to mock Aktar at any given moment in bright green. And as Aktar stares at the burnished copper filling his bank account, he
knows his parents would be proud. If only that camping trip had not gone so terribly wrong... Sylorra's Story Introduction: Sylorra Lorenova Druidess of Tunare of 36 Seasons Sylorra is my first character, and by far my favorite. I went through many trials and bad experiences (yes Lahal, even I had to learn somewhere =P) before I became what I am now - a druid extraordinaire who took over 20 minutes to kite my first cyclops *Laugh* =) Being a druid who doesn't have that much free time, I usually solo'd a lot and didn't really join many groups. I didn't know many people in EQ until I met Lavinda and Teleriel at Lake Rathe. Teleriel was roleplaying his paladin and it was fun to help each other fight skeletons there. I met Lavinda there when she asked for a SOW, and since then we began to keep in contact with each other more and more. After a while I started grouping with her, Teleriel and Reeves. I could not have asked for more dependable, trustworthy friends than these three, and we always have fun together. Lavinda tried to invite me into the guild on many occasions, but I was in the midst of a dilemma being that I also had an invitation from some friends in another guild to join theirs. Finally, I gave in to her gentle proddings and joined the guild, and I have not regretted it at all. I'd like to offer my deepest heartfelt thanks to Lavinda for convincing me to become a member of this awesome guild and giving me an opportunity to meet all its wonderful members. *Lavinda let me be her pet wolfie, that's what made up my mind for me to join up ^)^* I tend to roleplay Sylorra a lot, especially in wolf form, so watch out for my awesome licks! =) *Sylorra licks YOU so hard you have become better at swimming!(100)* (Short) Lore Version: Sylorra Lorenova Born in the wood elf village of Q'Estrel, Sylorra was forced to leave her family and friends at the age of 88 for reasons she could not understand. Her druid teacher, Asroth the druid sage, told her that her destiny lay ahead before her and that it would begin in Kelethin. Upon reaching the majestic tree city, Sylorra was inducted into the Soldiers of Tunare, where she began her rigorous training as a druidess in the service of Tunare. As she gained experience through her travels she saw much of what was wrong in the world around her: the spread of evil in all its forms, both monster and person alike. It was this that convinced Sylorra to dedicate her life to helping others in need and ridding the world of evils and injustice. Her travels eventually took Sylorra to the continent of Antonica, where she visited the great human city of Qeynos. It was during this period that Sylorra began to truly develop her abilities as a druid, and fate eventually led her to the shores of Lake Rathetear. She spent a great deal of time there, training and honing her skills until her true potential began to be realized. But at the same time, Sylorra felt the strain of her training, for it had left her feeling isolated and alone without any companions to share her time and experiences with. After all her wandering and travels, Sylorra ached for a sense of belonging, a place where she could call home and people she could call her friends. It was during this period at Lake Rathetear that Sylorra met up with kindred spirits. The first encounter was with a brave and honorable (albeit foolish) high elf paladin named Teleriel, who she had the honor of fighting side by side in battle with. The second encounter was with a kind hearted and friendly high elf wizard by the name of Lavinda, who always found the time to stop and chat with her. Although Sylorra did not realize it at the time, Teleriel and Lavinda would soon become very important in her life. Sylorra continued her training in South Karanas, where she mastered the druidic art of K'ythin and slew many creatures single handedly. Then one night, while she was hunting, Sylorra met up with Lavinda and Teleriel again out on the plains of South Karanas. The three adventurers exchanged many humorous and interesting tales and began to forge a new friendship together. It was from that moment that Sylorra realized she had found what she had been missing and seeking in her life. As time passed, Sylorra found herself spending more and more time together with Lavinda, Teleriel, and a human paladin by the name of Reeves. After many invitations and pleas from Lavinda to join her guild, the Circle of Sol, Sylorra finally conceded to Lavinda's wishes and accepted her gracious offer. Sylorra had finally come home. Deidre's Story Deirdre Grimalkin Monk of the Ashen Order, Silent Fist Clan Born to a human woman, Deirdre's father was a barbarian mongrel who forced himself upon her mother and left her for dead in a raid upon Freeport. Her mother, unable to stand the sight of her, left her with the monks of the Ashen Order to be raised. Deirdre only ever knew combat, and as a young woman she fought fervently to enforce the tranquility of Quellious by vanquishing the servants of Innoruuk. If only things had stayed that simple, so clear cut, so black and white, her life would have been much easier. After a brief fling with a wood elf ranger, she had a half-elf daughter whom she named Talyandrei. Deirdre fell in love with a cleric of the dark one, who dallied with her and toyed with her heart until she was nothing but a shell of her former self, a mere mercenary who fought for survival, nothing more. Abandoned, dejected, with only the care of her daughter keeping her alive, Deirdre may not have survived, but for the love of one friend...her best friend, who arranged for her invitation into Circle of Sol, where she is now recovering, strengthening her faith in Quellious and again becoming the champion of good that she once was. As a Tier'Dal Shadow Knyght, I never found a reason for a guild until I wound up continually grouping with many members of CoS, and when my unholy mate, Eirilinia, was intending to join, I found where my home is (and I love it's philosophy: TO HAVE FUN). Analias (18th Circle): A Tier'Dal Wizard who dabbles in jewelcrafting, and since I'm the younger of the two I spend less tyme developing my abilities and leave most of the tyme for Nep (and we have tons of wizards, only one solitary DarkKnyght). I am proud to say that once, I got Aktar killed, and I'm sure he won't live that down. Regardless if I was killed in the process, it was well worth it. (; Both chars we're officially invited by Aktar and they both love Dark Chocolate and Ice Cream. In Dolce Decorum, Nep and Ana Rheanne's Story Rheanne Mystfire, Shaman Barbarian/High-elf: (I'll keep this short or I'll end up writing a novel or something) I was born just like any other barbarian in Halas. My parents traveled the land seraching for new and exciting things. Though I was small that didn't stop them from adventuring. They decided to head to Mistmoore and left me with one of their high-elf friends. They left for the dreaded castle and never returned. So I was raised in Felwith as a high-elf. Most of you know my sister Sandara and she is the one who invited me into the guild when she thought I was old enough. I've picked up the nickname Barbarian Princess, started by Aktar (silly Wizard =p). That's about it I guess =) Rheanne Mystfire, Shaman and the little barbarian princess. Lahal's Story When I look at my reflection on the water in Surefall, I see a child of Tunare, a druid who gets lost a lot, a guildsman in the Circle of Sol, and a Shadowdancer. Lahal Shadowdancer Druid of 26 seasons Circle of Sol Rodcet Nife Student of Sylorra "Biter of the Cyclops Arse" Hmm. What can be said. I was born on July 31st in Surefall Glade. A friendly Puppy helped me find my druid guild and escorted me to Qeynos where I fought rats and snakes until I was old enough to travel to Halas. Here I stayed for many seasons, listening to Puppy's tales of "Chessboard" and "Crushbone". One day I was in Qeynos, quite bored with this part of the world, and I was offered a free port to GFay. How could I say no when that cute Ranger was in Faydwer. I arrived, and was promptly introduced to Crushbone... Where I died many times, and Puppy came to my rescue. My teen years were split between Chessboard and Oasis. I finally attained 14 seasons *a tremendous time as any druid knows*, and I was close enough in season to group with someone I had been following around for quite a while. *blush* Oasis was filled with many deaths, lots of running, beautiful sunsets, a marriage proposal and many good memories. As I attained 18 seasons, I found myself on edge. I was no longer having fun with the guild that we had founded. Both Puppy and I came to the decision to leave. On the eve of that decision, I was in Surefall, thinking in my favorite quiet spot, when I spotted Krisania. I introduced myself and began asking her about the Circle. She gave me Aktar's name, we chatted a while longer and I knew I had made a friend. Later that night, I was grouped in Lake Rathetear, when a pale high elf commandeered my druid companion to bind him in Arenas. His name was Teleriel and he was one of the Circle. And I must say, he was quite the gentleman. I spoke to him briefly of my meeting with Krisania and he suggested I speak with Aktar as well. The next day I met with Aktar, and he seemed really nice. Little did I know he has a penchant for killing his guildmembers. ;) And here is where my life took a turn. Instead of following my gut instinct and enquiring regarding a membership with the Circle, I joined another guild under the pressure of a friend. My time there was brief, difficult, and I almost decided to leave Norrath. But then a pale paladin helped me to see the light of Tunare again. From here I met Perloe, Xallahh, and Xandarsion. After meeting these guys, I felt like I had found brothers. I asked Aktar about membership and he suggested I group with these guys a little. Many weeks later *or so it seemed*, Aktar invited me to meet with him in SK. I gated from Qeynos to NK, and was promptly greeted by an angry HG who was beating on the druid vendor. I zoned as my SoW ran out. I entered SK and an invitation to join the Circle of Sol appeared. I somehow missed it, and Aktar told me he'd have to wait another week to invite me again! I was nearly in tears. Then the invitation appeared once more. Bad Aktar, bad!! Don't tease the druid!! "That's for her husband to do" Deirdre would say. In my 24th season Puppy and I were married in Surefall Glade. It was a great night. Xallahh danced drunk on the pond, and only one of our necro guests was slain. *his camo wore off* Since then Puppy has joined the Circle, and there have been excursions with my guildsmen to SolA *Fathersin*, RunnyEye, Cazic and Mistmoore where the occasional death has occurred. *cough*Teleriel*cough. But it is all fun. =) When I look at my reflection on the water in Surefall, I see a child of Tunare, a druid who gets lost a lot, a guildsman in the Circle of Sol, and a Shadowdancer. Torloth's Story As an orphan raised by Sarla, a serving maid in Blue Hawk's tavern, Torloth
grew up in Tox Forest with her girlhood friends Aktar, Theryn, Djar and
Sebastion (and remembers she was a level higher when she first met Aktar).
She met Huar and Kerien in BlackBurrow when she was 12 and they were 8 and
10 (she may have gotten Huar killed more times than Aktar has..... no).
Obviously, Torloth spends more time studying and raising her daughter than
adventuring.
A bit of a chatterbox and "emoter", she sometimes thinks too deeply and
cares too much. She is far more the Healer than a Fighter, and far poorer
than her friends. Being chronically short of money, she didn't get Banded
armor until level 18 and bought her first piece of Bronze at 24 (replacing
Leather gloves); she has yet to accumulate more than 112pp at one time, and
that was spent quickly on spells. She gets very attached to both people and
places, and tends to "homestead" locations for weeks at at time. She prefers
doing things for herself, and can be a bit stubborn at times. She has a fondness for Wizards and Mages, Druids and Warriors and, thanks to
a friend in her youth, Undumbum, a great weakness for Barbarians. She had a
strong dislike for necromancers, particularly the Heritics of Erud, but,
with admittedly great difficulty, Aktar and Sebastion did convince her that
all Erudite Necros were not necessarily Heritics; her travels in the world
of Norrath have further provided growth and she now knows that no race or
profession is necessarily evil. She has even been heard talking nicely to
Necromancers recently. Fathersin's Story
Fathersin was born from a family of 19. Most of the siblings didnt make it
that long from the "Survival of the Fittest" instinct of ogres. Many people dont
realize that ogres have to eat almost 1/8 there weight in food a day to
maintain in daily life. That is why most look like they are fat. Most starve
when younger and if they live long enough they want to have a couple days of
fat on them so they dont waste away from starvation. Shadow Knights must eat
1/6 their weight because the magic that they wield draws alot of energy off
their bodies. Shamans have the worst effect of this than all the races combine.
They must consume 1/4 their weight in food from the taxing of the magic that
they wield. Fathersin has a brother, Asmodeous, that made it as a Shadow Knight, that
he has just met while at Guk. Fathersin lost his memory to an accident with his
pet gator named Lockjaw, that now roams Oasis, that left his face scarred for
life. He was found as a baby by a ranger by the name of Himpter Widowmaker who
helped him survive in the world and trained him in the arts of war in Qeynos
Hills killing gnolls for the local townsfolk. A kind barbarian rogue by the
name of Kincaid help sneak into Halas to watch the shamans there preform their
magic. After "Aquiring" a couple scrolls, Kincaid, gave them to Fathersin to
see if he had what it took to be a shaman. Needless to say, Fathersin worked
the magic like a bard can sing, and became one of the best shamans of the land.
While in Blackburrow slaying gnolls and winning the respect and trust of most
of the townfolk in Qeynos, he met a big, dumb barbarian named Ohtar and a silly
little gnome by the name of Arkanelore. This sparked a friendship that lasts
till this day. While on a journey back to his homeland for training and spells,
Ohtar and Arkanelore met up with a newly starting guild by the name Circle of
Sol and joined their ranks. When Fathersin returned back from his homelands
Ohtar and Arkanelore begged and pleaded Fathersin to join them in this guild of
theirs. After much thought and begging, he decided that more friends is better
than no friend and joined the Circle of Sol guild. The day of join the guild
that changed his life forever his was brutelity killed by a griffon while still
grouped with the foresaken one named Aktar, the leader of the guild, thus
truely being one of the true members of Circle of Sol(HA HA HA :P). And as the
members swell in the guild, so does his number of friends. Even today he cannot
go into any zone and not find one person that doesnt know the name Fathersin
Soulcollecter. He has become a legend in his own time, and a symbol of his
people that their is a few in their ranks that good and noble as any race can
be!!! Faernola's Story My name is Faernola. I was raised in the city of Erudin from birth and left
as soon as I was able. I actually tried once, before I was able, but I
couldn't yet walk and opening the front door was an impossibility. My
parents owned and operated their own publishing company, scribing countless
books for little pay. They loved their work. They were fools.
Worthless though they were, they managed somehow to contribute to who I am
today. When I was six, they put me to work writing for their publishing
company. My first book was the basis for my studies to this point in my
life. The book, titled "Root N Burn: An Aspiring Wizard's Guide to
Destroying the Nervous System of Just About Every Living Thing," sold many
copies. My parents, of course, kept the profits for themselves and moved to
and island located somewhere in Erud's Crossing, leaving me behind to fend
for myself. Rumor has it that they were killed while writing their final
book, "And Exploration in Befriending a Fire Elemental: Why Can't We All
Just Get Along?" I took to the forest and met a man who went by the name of Faedine (Scribe's
Note: Investigate). He taught me, through words and action, that the world
is full of people who are generally good, and that the actions of one person
do not represent the behaviour of a group. He taught me to forgive, unless
they conned green, in which case I should cast upon them a spell that causes
their molecules to lose cohesiveness. I have not seen him since I was very
young. There is a rumor as to what happened to him, but I have a very, very
good alibi. I am proud to be a member of the Circle of Sol, and hope that there are many
days before us filled with the agonized screams of our prey, who will be
feeling the wondrous pain of fire burning from the inside out.

his estranged father. Roihan's mother died in front
of his eyes during a Dark Elf raid on Freeport.
Roihan's father never recovered from the tragedy and
stayed away from Roihan as much as possible. Roihan,
to this day, believes it hurt his father too much to
deal with his last link to his beloved wife. Because of this estrangement, Roihan spent many of his
days (and nights) in the streets of Freeport and
roaming the East Commons (where he treaded carefully
due to the dreaded Nektulos forest on the other side).
It was during one of these journeys that Roihan's
life changed forever. He was wandering the commons
during one of his getaways and stumbled upon an Orc
Pawn who began to beat him into the ground
relentlessly. Suddenly Roihan heard a loud clap and
smelled burning skin. He looked up.....the pawn had
been smitten. A dark skinned man, who at first
startled Roihan because to him dark skin had always
been associated with the Dark Elves, helped Roihan to
his feet and introduced himself as Aktar Mythmaker.
Roihan (holding his laughter at the silly and
presumptuous name) thanked the wizard profusely and
asked if he there was anything he could do to repay
him. Aktar looked at Roihan intently and said 'yes'.
Roihan, wondering what he could possibly due for this
strange looking fellow waited to hear his fate. Aktar brought Roihan to a nearby tree where a young
Dark Elf was laying with a wound in his leg. Roihan
immediately jumped back but the wizard held onto him
and reassured him it was alright. He then said, 'My
young friend here is wounded. I would like you to
heal him'. Roihan stared incredulously at the wizard
and began to protest. Aktar interrupted him and said,
'Just heal him'. Roihan, not really sure what he was
doing layed his hands on the Dark Elf and
well.....hoped. A glowing light began to envelope him
and the Elf and the wound began to close. Roihan
could not believe his eyes. After the glow faded he
fell on the ground exhausted. Aktar was nodding his head knowingly. He looked at
Roihan and told him that he had a close friend named
Torloth. Torloth was a High Elf (Roihan knew of them
and their beauty). Apparently, she knew about Roihan.
Roihan came to find out that his mother was a cleric.
She had met Torloth's family on one of her many
exploratory journeys. After Roihan's mother's death,
it was decided that he should be found and told the
truth about his mother for Torloth's family knew that
his father would never tell his son of his innate
gift. The Dark Elf that Roihan healed was named Slyth.
These two developed a friendship that was nurtured by
Aktar and Torloth. Through Aktar and Torloth he also
met many other amazing people; a couple of which
included a mage named Theryn (he was from the same
place as Aktar) and an interesting but sneaky fellow
named Raton. He listened intently to stories about
their many journeys and the many talented people they
knew. For some reason they kept making fun of a mage
named Zxon. Roihan never quite learned what that was
all about. As Roihan began to meet more people he also began
serious work on his healing skills. Having a learned
cleric around was obviously a big help. To this day
Torloth still continuously offers her help to Roihan
for she knows how much of a challenge and a
responsibility the healers of Norrath have placed upon
them. From friendships like these the Circle of Sol was
formed. Roihan has met countless more people who
continually impress him with all of their unique
abilities. Not long ago some bad news was brought to
Roihan. His longtime friend, Slyth, had died and left
Norrath forever while in the Estate of Unrest.
Apparently the undead had taken a distinct disliking
to a Dark Elf so zealously trying to rid them from the
estate. Roihan considered moving to Erud and never
returning to the main continent for his grief was
unbearable. Fortunately, his longtime friends came
through once again and convinced him that such a thing
would be silly and would only tarnish Slyth's memory.
Slyth never would've wanted Roihan to end his journeys
on his account. And so, Roihan is still happily roaming Norrath to
this day and is proud to be a founder, but more so, a
member of Circle of Sol. Shimmyr's Story Oh, how I wish I could remember my past! Who are my parents? Do I have
any siblings? What, exactly, is my heritage? This mental break causes me so much pain. The pain bleeds over into most
relationships with others and I find it difficult to make any true, close
friends. Be this as it may, here is my story (or as much of it as I can
recall). Please do not judge me too harshly. I awoke one day in a beautiful, intricate tree city called Kelethin, naked
and alone. How frightening that "first" day of my life was. The city was
bustling with activity, people running here and there, everyone in such a
hurry that no one seemed to notice a naked wood elf shivering and afraid. From somewhere inside me, I found the strength and courage to explore the
city and my wanderings, thank Tunare, led me to a friendly place. It was
here, at the Druid's Guild, that I met the Heartwood Master who took me
under his wing and gave me guidance. Through the Master's teachings, I learned of vile, evil creatures who were
attempting to take over the land. The Master said there were many who had
left their businesses and families, donned with only crude weapons and
armor, to search out the evil and remove it from Tunare's blemished Norrath. In my then current state of being, this type of adventurous life called to
me. As far as I knew, I would not be leaving behind some well-known
business, and sadly, there was no family for me to kiss goodbye. All
questions concerning my past during my period of training were either met
with hostile resistance or sincere ignorance. I had absolutely nothing to
lose, except my life, but felt even that wasn't worth much. To be
painfully, brutally honest -- I wanted to die. There was no reason for my
existence... Armed only with a crude weapon and a little bit of magic, I descended to
the lands below the tree city. Off I went in search of "evil". I knew evil
existed because it had taken part of my "self" away from me. I would seek
it out, kill it, maybe before it killed me. I didn't care.
What began for me as a death wish soon turned into an intense, bloodthirsty
desire to rid Kelethin of those nasty, foul-smelling orcs. Working alone
was not an easy task, but I did what I could.
During one particularly intense night of battle, I apparently drew the
attention of two high elves, named Teleriel and Lavinda. While fighting, I
became more courageous than ever before and the orcs died quickly at my
feet. Realizing that Teleriel and Lavinda had helped me, I thanked them as
well as I could and offered them what little I had in return for their
service. Payment for their kindness, they said, was not necessary.
Instead, they bestowed upon me weapons and armor the likes of which I had
never seen. They wished me well and went on their way. They never forgot
me, however, and time and again they would seek me out to offer aid and
advice. It was during one of these visits that I asked in-depth questions
concerning wood elves and druids. Neither Lavinda nor Teleriel were as
familiar with this subject matter as I had hoped, but they did give me the
name of a druid who, if located, could answer my questions. The name of
this druid intrigued me -- Sylorra Lorenova. I decided then and there, that
if I were to be a true help to Tunare, I had to locate this person and seek
her counsel.
Again, Teleriel and Lavinda came to my rescue. They ran across Sylorra
during one of their excursions and spoke to her of a young druid in need of
guidance. Sylorra, great servant of Tunare, immediately sought me out and,
without hesitation, answered each of my questions. I was now equipped in
both body and spirit. And so, what started out for me as an empty, lonely existence on a path to
nowhere has become a life full of meaning and purpose with three courageous,
noble elders to guide me. I thank them for my life and their friendship,
and the feeling of belonging to a "family". Little did I know how large my
family was to become. I did not realize it at the time, but Lavinda and Teleriel were closely
monitoring me and I was participating in an unknown test of strength,
courage and will. I discovered this when Lavinda invited me to join the
Circle of Sol -- a large family of friends who, throughout their lifetimes,
help one another in their endeavors. Overcome with a sense of warmth and
belonging, I quickly accepted the invitation and am now a proud member of
this most honorable guild. It is here that I have met people like Lahal, a
most generous druid and Asudad, a wizard who knows no fear. Many others in
Circle of Sol have also helped to shape and mold me into what I am today.
Many thanks to them all! Shimmyr Sylverthistle
Druid Extraordinaire
Lavinda's Story Once upon a warm and rainy night Lavinda was born to the Espiritusdraco
family. Her proud high-elven family was known for crafting fine garmets from
pelts to protect the noble elves that guarded Faydark. Lavinda did work hard
crafting these garmets and did a fine job, up to a point. She was proud of her work, but she was drawn to the heart of the lands.
Lavinda could feel Norrath draw her to learn the ways of the Wizard. One night,
while she was asleep in her Felwith home, she had a vision of being able to go
help the fighters of Faydark protect the lands. Mithaniel Marr came to her and
told her that she would one day be a powerful wizard and that she should follow
the land's wishes and seek a wizardly education. Lavinda awoke the next day and told her mother, father, and seven sisters
of her vision and what she intended to do. She had to follow the guiding spirit.
Her parents were beside themselves but supported her none the less. She was
apprenticed to the Wizard guild of Faydark where she learned the basics of
being a wizard. Faydark's paladins, Teleriel and Runestone, and Faydark's
wizards, Asudad and Ebric, took her under their wings at the orc camps and
helped her learn the finer points of survival and slaying evil creatures. Long years passed and Lavinda had grown to be one with her band of Norrath
protectors. She did at times wander alone to explore the lands because she was
indeed a Wizard of all of Norrath and wished to examine it closely to make
sure that the good ways of Faydark were spreading. She funded these trips
by using her old family trade. She crafted armor for the unfortunate and used
what donations she received, if any, to buy rations so that she could continue
her mission. It was on one of these mission trips in the frosty North, Everfrost, that
Lavinda did meet a band of wizards that were of a mission to slay what evil
lay in Permafrost. She thought to herself...these people are crazy. They
are four wizards seeking another wizard in hopes that they might be able to
take down great evil creatures. Where are their paladins! Indeed. So, after
that lucid moment, she said, "Sure!" Their fearless leader, Aktar, invited her
into the coven of wizards and they dashed off for the glory of the fray.
Lavinda did not hear from those lively wizards until many years after that
daring foray into Permafrost. One day her good friend Asudad, a sharing and kind wizard of
the Circle of Sol, by that time, took her to Najena and assisted her in
obtaining a lovely flowing black robe. She donned it proudly and then
proceeded to assist more folk in slaying the evil wench for her robe. This
is when Vanitia, a good friend of Asudad's travels, invited Lavinda into
the Circle of Sol. At first she refused because she had promised her staff
to another pospective guild. However, upon speaking across the lands with
the potential leader of the guild, she learned that it would not be. She turned to Vanitia and asked if he would invite her again into the Circle
She accepted his offer and was soon met with and graced with the presence of
a new family that she deemed to call her own. One day there was a guild meeting. She had heard of the powerful leader
who had the ability to slay many with his mere presence. Impressed and curious,
she went to this meeting to meet this leader. Upon seeing him for the first
time as her leader she recalled that one fine day in Everfrost and giggled to
herself. This was the one that had swept up four wizards and himself and taken
on the dangerous mission of slaying the goblins that plauged the Permafrost
lands. He was the one she would call leader and friend. She had already been
initiated into the guild. Since this joining with friends she has proudly borne the name Circle
of Sol in her heart and through her actions. *Lavinda POOFS into a Dragon and flies across the moon-struck waters to seek
further adventures with her fine friends. One day soon she will be that
powerful wizard that Mithaniel Marr once promised to the lands of Norrath.*
