Nexus : Online Roleplaying

Role Playing



Roll playing isn't used as widley as it should in the world of Nexus. Nexus is and online RPG, Role Playing Game. For starters the world of Nexus takes places in ancienct Korea, so leave out the modern day slang... such as lol, rofl, lmao, gtg, brb, afk, later, hey, whats up, etc. A big mistake in not roleplaying is talking about real life, irl. If you must talk to people in real life use a whisper. Using whispers goes for everything non RP related. Heres some ways you can spice up your lingo. First RPing doesnt mean using Thou instead of You, but at the same time using that as a tool can't hurt. Second, as I said before don't use modern slang instead use this to express sayings like lol, rofl, lmao, gtg, brb, afk , later, hey, whats up, etc.
  • Instead of hehe use emotion a, that also goes for lol etc.
  • Instead of gtg use farewell, or i must be on my way.
  • Instead of brb use I will return shortly, or even type out i will be right back.
By all means though talking does not make a good RPer. Talking does not make the man, you must also establish a background for your character, a reason for your being. Be it for gold, helping others, or to establish yourself as a hero and a well known legend of the nexus.
