How to mod a map:

For This Tutorial you will need to know how to FTP, and you must have a Softmodded Xbox.

Open up you folder on the right hand side of your FTP Prog that says E.

Then go to the folder that ends in 64.

Now the wierd sign with the C in it.

Open the folder of the map you wish to mod. (000001 is containment and warlock, 00002 is sanctuary, and something else, you get it tho?)

Now before you touch these maps, make a folder on your pc that says backup maps, then one that says clean maps, then one that says modded maps.

Copy all the folder (0001,0002,0003) to you backup section.

Then do the same thing but now into the clean map section.

Now lets say you want mods for warlock but dont want to make them. Find a website and download a file called warlock.ppf, or warlock.sppf.

So now you need ppf - o - matic, if it is a.ppf file, or sppf-o-matic if it is a .sppf file.

For now we will use ppf-o-matic. Click the floppy near the word ISO. grab warlock.map from you clean maps folder. No go to the other floppy, click it, and apply the warlock.ppf to it. Now click apply

It will load and then when finish X - out of it.

Now you need a map resigner, which can be found in the program all in one v.2 ( I recommend downloading this because it is everything you need to mod all in one, get it?)

Open up you resigner, and click open map. Open the warlock.map file in the your clean maps folder, and then click sign. Now the map is ready to be put onto you Console.


Now open up FlashFXP again, and make sure its connected and you still in your modded dash.

Go to the folder on the right hand side where you found warlock.map. Now go to you clean maps folder on your pc, right click warlock.map and select transfer. When a window appears click overwrite. Now i want you to get out of Flashfxp, go to you clean maps folder, copy warlock.map to modded maps. Then delete warlock.map from you clean maps folder. Now go into back maps foler, and copy warlock.map to clean maps ( This is incase you F up you maps, now your maps wont be mixed up and you will know which are modded.)
Turn on your Xbox, and play some modded games.

* Note warlock.ppf/warlock.sppf files will only work when applied to the map warlock

* Note - if you do not resign your maps, you will get a failed to load the map error!
