Hand in Hand

Two O'Clock and we meet,
She's wearing that dress I love,
Our time feels like a matter of seconds,
Time to part...though I want not to,
Two-thirty and I'm flying, as is my heart,
Certain images remain grafted to my mind,
Her beauty surpasses all others,
Somehow for some reason, she takes kindly to me,
Three-twenty-two and I'm touching down,
My head has become more sensible and focused,
Yet my heart can only beat in time with hers,
She takes care of me like no other,
I'm waiting till noon tomorrow when time brings us back together.
