“Just Another Adventure”
Listen intently, my friends, of this occasion I’m about to tell,
Of just another adventure with my friend that makes my humor well,
T’was the second noteworthy Boulder snowstorm,
An evening better suited to stay inside and stay warm,
To stay off the roads we had no choice,
This thick snowfall that fell without any noise,
Our conversation back home was light and merry,
Then right before our parting we had an incident most scary,
The roads were not the safest by far, being very slick,
As we found out firsthand going over a median in the Sidekick,
It happened all so fast,
Both of us at the moment speechless and aghast,
The typical response came out of my mouth, “Are you alright?”
I imagine to those at the gas station our pale expressions must have been quite a sight,
Luckily God was watching out for us just as he continues to watch you and I,
Just another adventure we shared together, we parted as usual and said goodbye.
