It is a new semester and a new bible talk,
Our location changed but our foundation remains on rock,
A former leader back in that role of leading,
Hoo, the generous and loving, giving structure to our meeting,
We now call Kittredge our bible talk’s home,
Seeking to bring in those who spiritually wander and roam,
Lorena is our co-leader, bringing forth both seriousness and comfortability,
Ryan, when not plagued with Engineering, provides solid wisdom of The Word’s simplicity,
Already one bible talk in the commons on the 25th,
Already one visitor we’ve had the opportunity to talk to about the bible with,
Rachel’s memorization of scriptures challenges us all,
Aaron’s focus and structure is always on call,
We’ve already enjoyed a great homemade meal,
And another group dinner on its way of sushi, hopefully no eel,
Kim brings the group such insight from his heart,
Jaclyn’s heart is with us as well, her current role and part,
And as for your resident poet I’ll try to make your burdens light and hearts glad,
May we press on and together run the race,
Keeping each other on our feet and focused, keeping the pace.
