"Stop calling me Shackwave, dammit!"

This is a "cousin" of the 1980s Shockwave toy. The toy was originally made by some company other than Takara or Hasbro, and licensed for the Transformers toy line back then. Radio Shack also licensed the mold to make their own toy, calling him Galactic Man. This is my own toy from the 80s... I still remember getting him way back then, and despite thinking "this is a fake Transformer," I liked him more than my G1 Megatron. Still do... he's better proportioned for one thing. I still have the instructions somewhere, I'll have to post scans of them sometime. The schematics for the electronics are on the back page XD

There are only a few differences between "Shackwave" and Shockwave...

• Purple vs metallic grey
• Translucent purple vs clear
• Flat trigger vs "normal," phallic trigger
• Decepticon Symbol vs "Galactic Man" type with 'pinstripes'

I'm probably missing a few more differences, but those are the main ones. Here are a few more pics. Sorry that some are yellow-tinged, that's just bad lighting...
