GEC SUMMER SCHOOL

GEC Summer School will start on July 8th 2002 at the Garden International School, Ban Chang, and Rayong. We have planned an exciting series of activities designed to improve your child’s English and keep them active and occupied continuing their studies throughout the summer break.

CLASSES: Children will be observed for use of language and placed into one of the following classes, according to age.

 

 

CURRICULUM: English will be generally taught through activities, although older children will receive specialist language training. Thai language and culture will also feature in our curriculum. As well as the following activities, day trips and sporting activities will be included.

GEC SUMMER SCHOOL TEACHERS: The Summer School Teachers are employed by GIS and are trained in teaching English to young children. The Teachers speak fluent English and Thai and will be supervised by the GEC Course Managers. Additional Teachers and Support Workers ensure adequate supervision and specialist tuition in English, Art and Music.

ENROLMENT: Enrolment Forms should be returned by the 28th of July, together with payment (B3,000 for full time, B2000 for part time). We will need to know you & your child’s details (please use the back of this form) and return it by fax, e-mail or by hand to the GIS Office (see below).

COSTS: Fees are paid on enrolment and are as follows:

B3000 per week

Per child for full time (8.00 – 3.00pm Daily)

B2000 per week

Per child for part time (8.00am – 11.30pm Daily)

The costs include structured English tuition, play materials, snacks, refreshments & day trips. There will be a 15% discount for your second and 30% for your third child. There may be a small extra charge for special bus services. Children are required to bring a packed lunch.
