Why I Entered The Garden Guild

Mew wanted to be a memfer of the Garden Guild because mew's owners are gardeners and florists, and mew was interested in being involved in a club for summer and the future. Plus, mews' youngest owner enters flowers in the Lane County Fair so mew was curious about those flowers.

Mew expects a fun experience. Mew loves to write and enjoys flowers. Mew wants to learn more about flowers, including new facts about already known species and whole new species.

Mew hopes to enjoy learning and writing about plants and flowers. Mew is also interested in the other memfurs of the group. Mew likes to talk to people who have the same interests in plants and flowers.

I have a very large garden of my own which I share with my housemate, Henri. He digs, I plant. Since Henri has little skill in choosing flowers, I designed it myself. My person is totally ignorant of the fine points of gardening and I realized it was up to me, Desdemona, famous cat author, to take over the chores...

I love to be outside with the flowers! Meowmie has to supervize me when I'm out there, but it's worth it just to smell the colourful flowers blooming! I'd love to be a memfur of the Garden Guild. :)

We are furry happy to be in the Garden Guild because we luf flowers. Our Dad doesn't grow much in the house but when spring comes he puts out pots on our patio and tomatoes and other things in the garden. We would really like to help him more but he doesn't let up out there unless he is wif us. When we do get to go out we head to the garden to check out what has been done and offer suggestions and help. We always try to add fertilizer where it will be most helpful and we dig to help break up the soil. Our favorite thing is the catnip in the big pot on the patio and we try to take very good care of it. We look forward to learning lots of gardening tips here in the Garden Guild and hope we can pass on some of our knowledge too.

We LOVE gardening - its such a delightful pastime. We sit in the sun, licking our paws. Then we inspect the holes Meowmie digs, sniff the plants and generally check everything out. WE ARE NOT eyeing the holes to see if they are fit for toilets! NOR do we dig up the plants! Meowmie accuses us of both these things. (Mind you there are some holes which Meowmie DOES dig for toilets and some plants which deserve being dug up 'cos they're in the wrong place!!) Our favourite plant is catmint, of course! We look forward to taking part in the garden guild!!

I wanted to join the Garden Guild because I luff flowers and plants. I think they are beautifur and smell wonderfur. As I live in Florida, I see many diffurrent types of tropical flowers. My goal in joining the Garden Guild is to share in my love of flowers with others and make new furriends.

I luf flowers .They are so beautiful and insperational.I want to be a memfur because most of my happy, calm times are out in the garden by the flowers.I expect to find lots of furrends in the Garden Guild. My meowmie recently got a Scarlet Milkweed and when it blooms it is gorgeous. I hope I make more furrends wif the same purrsonality as me.Gardening seems to cheer me up when I'm sad .I will haf lots of fun in the Graden Guild.
