05-30-00  Spring has Sprung! It seems like it rains here every other day.  The last big storm put my dry river beds to the test.  They did a good job and most of the water ran off down the river.  As you can see, the river beds are still full.
05-09-00  With all of the family involvement in the recent weeks I have not had time to work on the garden railway.  Some things really put your world into perspective!  
As you can see, with all of the college stuff yet to be put away the workshop is a mess.
04-23-00  First Planting.  A little shopping on Saturday and some nice weather Sunday made for a great day on the layout.
04-19-00  Work is continuing on the Depot and it is almost done.  There are lots of little details to explain but I should hopefully have a full update some time this week.
04-18-00  Wow, what a day.  It was so nice on Saturday that I actually got a sun burn.  The layout made great strides forward after 10 hours of non-stop work.
04-09-00  Another slow weekend here.  The weather continues to hamper progress on the DC&H Railway.  No sooner did the yard supply store open then it turned cold and snowed!  
 
 
 
 
  
04-05-00  First Bridge.  Its been a slow week here with a lot of other things taking up my time.  I did complete the first of 3 bridges needed for my initial design though.
 
04-01-00  Not a whole lot accomplished today.  Lots of yard work and home stuff to do.  I did take a few shots of the DC&H Railway mascot, Xena.  At 20 pounds, this bunny is the worst nightmare of the cats and squirrels in my area!
 

 

03-28-00  Update on the Depot.  A quick update on the completed roof.
 
03-28-00  Layout Work.  Put my Portals and Retaining Walls into place, dug out my river beds and started the track laying process.
 
03-27-00  Ruby and R/C.  Added remote control to my Accucraft Ruby Live Steam Locomotive.
