Some pictures from Gulf Shores, Alabama and it's surrounding areas :)

We hope to make this our permanent view in about 10 years.  It's hard to tell here because it was nearing nightfall, but the sand is as white as sugar and the water is as clear as it was ever meant to be.

These little flowers were blooming all over the dunes... In the background of the pic, there are wild raspberries, blackberries and strawberries.  Yum!!

This is an entrance into Ft. Morgan.  Looks kinda spooky, but it's just a short walk to the courtyard.

Through this doowary (the grassy part) is the moat.  The hinges to the shut off doors still hang where they were in 1812.

I'm not sure what this is.. lol
