Sim Awards
Writers Medal
Awarded by a player who devises a plot, or subplot for use in the sim. Must display superior writing skills, genre (usually Startrek) technical knowledge, and in-depth character involvement of other crewmen. Awarded at the conclusion of the storyline.
Webmaster's Medal
Awarded for outstanding service to RPG as Webmaster for at least 60 days.
Website Contribution Medal
Awarded for the contribution of a suitable text, picture, illustration - or direct labor to the sims web site.
Founding Crewman Medal (Order of the Old Guard)
Awarded to all that join the RPG in the first 30 days of its start-up.
Crewman (Simmer) of the Month
Awarded to a player who demonstrates superior skill in any of (but not limited to) the following categories: consistent posting, joint posts, single posts, posting on behalf of a Non-Player Character, Star Trek technical knowledge, literary skill, creative imagination, comedy, drama, or tragedy. Multiple awards.
Recruiting Medal
Awarded by the Captain to a player who recruits another quality player to join the sim. Multiple awards.
Many of the awards listed here are canonical Startrek medals, some are not. Players/characters are granted awards at the final approving authority of the sim Captain or GM. All of the medals shown are from the Armed Forces of various 20th century Terran countries.
