The Fire of Desire

A light that burns inside the hall,
Takes time to waste its fire,
And as the wax drips down the side,
So does my growing desire,
And as the candle grows in heat,
Light grows brighter too.
My heart beats faster, my eyes go wide.
Passion comes to rule.
