Type of Structure: Art Deco Office Building
Year(s) of Construction: 1929
Designer/Builder: Unknown
Stone Carver(s): Unknown
Materials: Brick and Limestone
Location: Lime Street (between Baltimore and Redwood Sts.)
Interesting Features: Eagles, eagle heads, lions (or some other type of big cat), some faces.
Personal Observations: Anna, Lisa and I stayed in the Brookshire Hotel and our room faced this wonderful building. I took several shots through the glass (because the windows didn't open). I even tried to get on the roof of our hotel but the hatch at the top of the ladder was bolted shut.
The gold and copper tower is lit up at night. There are greenish light on the inside of the tower making it look beautiful and eerie.
