Personal Observations: Bryn Athyn Cathedral is a wonderous place. You will feel quiet here. You will feel at peace here. You will automatically feel as if you belong here. Lisa brought me here the first time almost ten years ago. Before that I didn't realize such magnificent buildings exsisted in the United States. Since I was bitten I have brought my daughter Anna here about three or four times.
Finally, on the third visit we were able to go inside. Anna wants to go into every church that she sees. Finally she asked and I was able to say yes. Of course, once inside neither of us behaved ourselves. We both wanted to go to places that we knew we weren't allowed. I think the guide had a baby when Anna broke away from us, run under the ropes and headed up towards the chancel. I was more then happy to go fetch her since I also wanted to visit the roped-off area. One rule, that I didn't break, was that they don't want any interior photography. I am not sure why. I guess I don't need to know why.
