The Pearl Dragons
The Pearl Dragons made their first appearance in eastern Kislev. At the time, the Ice Queen was sorely pressed by the Chaos Dwarves who were raiding the eastern frontier of her nation. When the Pearl Dragons appeared bearing tales of their journey across the steppes and the hatred they had gained for the Hobgoblins who lived there, the Ice Queen hired them on the spot. They fit in perfectly with her army, able to support both her Winged Lancers and Horse Archers depending on the situation. In their first battle, they managed to rout a unit of Bull Centaurs and then completely destroy a group of Sneaky Gits, freeing a minor noble in the process. Since then they have found employment throughout the Empire and the Border Princes. They wander now on a quest known only to them, finding employment with whoever offers money or the chance to slay the green skinned ones.
Captain - Sun Ce
Motto - War is an art, and
the blade is our brush.
Battle-Cry - In battle each
warrior shouts his family’s name as a war-cry.

wear ornate brightly coloured lacquered armour. This armour is chased with
gold and silver. Their helmets bear large elaborate crests. They wear small standards or large strips of silk on
their backs. Even their horse trappings are rich, consisting of red silk,
golden thread, and small silver bells. The unit standard is very long and
flowing depicting a Pearl (Oriental-style) Dragon on a red field.
For Hire- Any army except O&G and Chaos Dwarves may hire the Dragons. However if the army also employs greenskins(ex. Khan’s wolf-riders) they cannot hire the Dragons.

Weapons/Armour: The Pearl Dragons carry very elaborately carved and decorated Great bows (long bows) and naginatas (halberds). They wear ornate lacquered armor.
Amour Save: 4+ (heavy armor and mount)
Special Rules:
Fast Cavalry- The Dragons are Fast Cavalry.
Immune to Panic- Former members of haughty warrior aristocracy, the Dragons are more discplined than most forces. As long as Sun Ce is alive, the unit is immune to panic.
Hate Greenskins- All the Dragons hate Greenskins (Orcs- including Black and Savage Orcs, Goblins- including Night and Forest goblins, and Hobgoblins). These creatures prey on the Dragon’s native land and by some accounts were even responsible for the Dragons being driven into exile.
Warrior’s Honor- Sun Ce is expected to uphold the honor of the unit and therefore may not decline a challenge and must always issue a challenge. If no one accepts his challenge, Sun will not attack, considering it beneath him to fight rank and file. If there are unengaged Dragon models, one will take Sun’s place in combat and fight normally. If there are no unengaged Dragons, Sun remains in place and can be attacked, but will not fight himself.
Frozen Glory- Sun Ce bears a family
heirloom naginata called Frozen Glory. Besides functioning as a normal
naginata (halberd), the blade of Frozen Glory traps and amplifies any available
light, blinding its foes with the glory of its wielder. Anyone attacking
Sun Ce in HtH has his WS and I reduced by 2.
