Coinage :
Most transactions are done between items (ie. barter system). However, coinage is often used in larger markets and cities that rely on trade. Coinage mainly consists of bronze discs, usually just called "discs" in cities that have varying populations (many species). However, in more remote regons they are often referred to by that city's term. Such as in Battle City discs are called "blood"s (a bronze blood is standard and usually just called a blood, however a silver blood is differentiated)
Silver is harder to come by since its source are the mines of the easter dwarves. A silver disc is worth 100 bronze discs.
Gold is considered a property of the gods and only royalty may possess it in any form. Anyone who receives a gold disc as payment must swiftly sacrifice it (a tithe of the gods is required anyway whether the coinage is gold or not according to the day's income) This tithe is usually just spent to build or improve altars and temples, or smelted down for gifts to the royalty, who are the gods' emissaries.
