Junction City spans across the meeting waters of two fast and powerful rivers, the River of Fire and Drow River. It is at Junction City that these two waterways become what is known as the Eternal River. Here is the collection point for all wares sailing down from the mountains from which the two rivers come. The Drow River is used both by dwarves and by dark elves to transport goods. And the River of Fire is used by dragon marketers who travel through Bone Forest to a bend in the river where, even when Fire Lake is completely molten lava, the riverbed is untouched by the fiery flow. If the river is not flowing, the goods must wait at this station until the water returns. It is during these waiting times that dragon goods are scarce, and any dragon object often creates hysteria and ridiculous bidding in the markets of the downriver cities. |
