The Straits of Mist

Only the Straits of Mist lie between the mainland and Mist Isle, Capitol of the Sea Elves.  To allow better trade between themselves and the rest of the land, the sea elves constructed a great bridge to span across the Strait, tall enough for all but the largest ships to pass under.  And yet few ships do go much further north than the Sea Elf port for fear of the Siren Cliff's to the north, and then the dangerous Frozen Sea.  The only thing travelers have to worry about in these Straits is the possibility of a swift and vision-crippling mist rolling in to blanket the area.
