The Swamp of Tears

Laying at the lowest point in the land just south of the Shadow Mountains, the Swamp of Tears collects all water from the surrounding area and holds it in a murky and dismal muck.  Nearing the southern Jungle of Cat the heat and the foul stench of the place is an oppressive as a heavy blanket.  Strange creatures live in these bogs.  The easiest route to the Swamp of Tears is through the Weeping Forest to the west of it, almost as dismal as the swamp itself.
