     | Christopher Lane was born in Farmington,  New
Mexico in 1960.  Since that time, he has lived in Las Vegas, Los
Angeles, Shreveport (Louisiana), Anchorage, and Seattle.  He graduated
from the University of Washington in 1982 with a Bachelor's of Art in
Communications, and from Regent University in 1983 with a Master's in
    Communications. In the past two
decades, he has: married, become a father, grown to appreciate mocha lattes,
explored nearly every type of writing known to mankind, managed to retain
most of his hair, reduced countless soft pastel sticks to colored dust,
learned to juggle, refined his patented cats-fighting-in-a-chimney blues
guitar sound, reached the level of black belt in Universal Kempo Karate,
caused dogs to rung for cover with his jazz trumpet improvisation, and
figured out that God has a wild sense of humor. His artistic influences include Stevie Ray
Vaughan, van Gogh, Faulkner, Miles Davis, Matisse, C.S. Lewis, George
Winston, Jackson Pollock, Jack Kerouac, Charlie Parker, Bonnard, Virginia
Wolfe, Chopin, Monet, J.D. Salinger. . . Christopher Lane presently lives in Colorado
with his beautiful wife, Melodie, their three energetic children, and a big
    black dog named Bandit.
