Robertson Clan

From what I have been able to gather so far ... my grandfather John Robertson was born in Duncan, Oklahoma which would place my great-grandfather John Robertson there with his wife Matilda last name (?) ... They had 6 children, 1 girl named Effie, who married a man named Jim Johnson and 5 boys, my grandfather John Robertson who had my father Henry Robertson, then there was Grover, Howard, Haskell and Nathaniel ... which I have not found trace of yet.

They were migrant farmers and also worked in the oil fields of Oklahoma ... I couldn't find out where my great-grandfather was born except that I was told he was born here in the United States but that his father was born in Scotland and that a man came over here when my great-grandfather was old and sickly and tried to get him to come back to Scotland to settle some kind of inheritance but he was too sickly to do it and let it go.

If any of this sounds familiar to your own family history please feel free to email me and let's compare notes ... I am eager to find out about where I came from and explore the past.
