Having watched ANH again last night, I thought I'd post this (why? 'cause I've
got nothin' better to do)....

THINGS I LOVE ABOUT STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE

The amazingly thorough Stormtrooper search tactic of "If the door's locked, go
on to the next one."

The fact that a dinky little R2 unit can access the ENTIRE Imperial Network.

The high Death Star security that doesn't notice a Wookie leaving a supposedly
empty ship.

The look of "Huh?" Luke gives 3PO when he says "I'd forgotten how much I hate
space travel".

Those two Death Star officers who feel that putting your hand in front of your
face is adequate protection from a super planet-destroying laser.

The amazingly heroic music that Han, Luke, and Chewbacca get for destroying
security cameras.

In the prison area, the elevator that (if you're to believe the lights above
it) is apparantly going up & down at a very high rate of speed.

The fact that Luke first looks at Leia in much the same way as my dog has
looked at a closed door.

Variable extension-rate lightsabers (compare Luke's and Ben's).

Ben's statement, "Run, Luke, run!" that sounds like it should have been
preceded by "See Luke.  See Luke run."

The way that the prospect of blowing away TIE fighters seems to banish away all
of Luke's grief for Ben.

The look of "Ooooookay..." that Tarkin gives Vader when he says "This
will be a day long remembered..."

Finally, the Stormtrooper battle tactic: "Blast'em!!"
