Carl Bowyer 2007

I want to thank Carl for getting together these songs that he has written and recorded. I have known Carl for some twenty years now, and I can tell you for sure, when he writes a song, he's writing it right from the heart. And make no mistake about it, when he sings his songs, he does the very same thing. Just listen to Carl sing "Barbara" and for a minute, you will think you're Barbara, and that you are right there with him. Also be sure to move your beer to one side, as the tears will surely ruin it. Now boys and girls, that's country music! Oh yeah, thanks for posing for the photo, Carl. You're looking good, buddy!

The first two songs are from one of Carl's singles from the early 1980s. They were written and recorded by Carl, and produced by Florida song writer and recording artist *Allen Wolfe.

Princess With The Raven Black Hair

Back in the early 1970s, Carl wrote a song that will just plain give you goose bumps. It's titled "Take Another Look Around". The song was recordrd by local artist Johnny Noles. Then in the early 1980s he wrote "A Life Time Of Love". This one was recorded by Opry legend Carl Butler. Folks, whatever you do, don't leave this page without listening to these great songs that only a true country music writer like Carl Bowyer could write.

A great big thanks to Carl for bringing a copy of the Carl Butler song right to my door. We have both been searcing for a copy for some time now.

The following songs have been transferred from many formats over the years, and have lost some fidelity. But just listen to the words Carl writes, and to his singing, and you will quickly know that when it comes to real country music, Carl Bowyer is the real thing!

That old Endless Highway

Pretty Blues, Happy Blues

You Can't Erase A Memory

A Reflection In Your Chrome

Nothing Like My Woman's Love

Spring Time In Prison

*Allen Wolfe
Probably early 1970s

Carl's songs "Barabra" and "Princess With The Raven Black Hair" were produced by song writer and recording artist Allen Wolfe. Allen was a fantastic guitar and fiddle player, and he played all the music that you hear in those two songs. So when you listen to those songs, you are hearing the sound of a fine country music team.....Carl Bowyer and Allen Wolf.
In the early 1980s, Allen took his own life. He is missed by many.

Please note, songs are free to listen to, but are (C) by Carl Bowyer and can't be re-recorded without his written permission.
