From My Guestbook & E Mail
Dear Gary,
Thank you so much, Gary, for acknowledging the music of my great-uncle, Jimmie Logsdon. His body of work is vastly underrated & ignored. It's wonderful seeing some of his work uploaded here.
I've been preserving his old recordings for many years & would be willing to offer a few rare gems if you should ever wish to add more content here. I'd be happy to offer up a bio as well, if you prefer.
In any case, thank you. Seeing Jimmie here makes me all the more proud that I loved & knew him.
Kudos,

I never knew or cared who sang it at the time, but in my high school days of the 1950s, I spun out many an adolescent dream with "That's When I'll Love You The Best" going through my mind as the "soundtrack." Years later, when I became country music editor of Billboard, I tried to trace down the song but with no success. Now, thanks to you, I can actually hear it and learn what I should have learned back then about the artist. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this.
